GRAY, Helen J. Age 88 of New Lebanon passed away Tuesday, Sept 5, 2017. She was born in Malvern, Ohio on Nov. 1, 1928 to her parents, Theodore Roosevelt & Laura (Polen) Leggett, who precede her in death along with her husband, James L. Gray, Sr.; daughter, Karen Martin; great-granddaughter, Briana Smith; sister, Jane; and brother, Bill. Helen is survived by her children, Jim (Angie) Gray, Bonnie Rogers, Pam (Ron) Guehring, and Sharon (Jay) Savage; 2 brothers, Donald Leggett, and David “Dick” Richard Leggett; sister, Kate Collett; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Steve Martin; and numerous extended family members. Helen was a member of Eversole Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed playing BINGO, fishing, bowling, and gardening. Helen was also an avid Reds, Buckeyes, and Bengals fan. A Memorial visitation will be held from 3- 4 pm with service to follow at 4:00 PM on Friday, Sept, 29, 2017 at Eversole Church of the Brethren. Pastor Mark Bowman officiating.
