Herbert E. Robinson

ROBINSON, Herbert Eugene Age 88 of Englewood, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016. He was born in Rushtown, Ohio on June 23, 1928 to his parents, George E. & Rosa (Pertuset) Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, George and Bill Robinson, and Audrey Spencer; grandson, Herbert D. “Bub” Robinson, Jr.; and great-grandson, Kelly Baldauf. Herbert is survived by his wife of 70 years, Emma C. Robinson; 3 sons, H. Dwaine (Freda) Robinson, Charles Robinson, and Rick (Diane) Robinson; daughter, Anita (David) Spiggle; sister, Janet Weil; 10 grandchildren, Cindy, Matt, Rebecca, Charlie, Richard, Nathan, John, David, Kara, and James; and 21 great & great-great grandchildren. Herbert worked as a stone cutter and finisher for Gregory Stone for 44 years. He was an ordained Minister and enjoyed traveling, especially to the hills of southern Ohio and Tennessee. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm with funeral service to follow at12:00pm on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345.
