Herman Gene Leadingham

LEADINGHAM, Herman Gene Age 84, of New Lebanon, passed away Tuesday October 10, 2017. He was born August 29, 1933 in Elliott County, Kentucky to the late Estel Leadingham and Irene (Wheeler) Pierce. Gene was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Patti Braden; sister, Wilma Bernier; and brother, Herbie Leadingham. He is survived by his wife, Margie; son, Dave (Cindy); brothers, Paul (Beverly), Ray (Pat), Orland, Jimmy (Teresa), and David (LaQuita); sisters, Helen (Roger) and Marylou (Elva); numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, and beloved pet, Kiana. Gene was a Mason and belonged to Lodge #596 in Brookville and was a huge University of Kentucky Basketball fan. Visitation will be Sunday October 15 from 2PM to 4PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 10AM on Monday October 16 at the funeral home with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
