Jacen I. "Jay" Lazar

LAZAR, Jacen “Jay” Age 48 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 3, 2018. Jay was born in Lima, Ohio on November 17, 1969 to his late father, Ruben S. Lazar and mother, Carolyn Long who survives him along with Jay’s fiancé and companion of 18 years, Anita Wehr; 2 sons, Samuel and Jacen Lazar, Jr.; loving fur babies, Sadie, Chewy, Taz, and Sophie; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Jay was proud to have earned the distinction of Eagle Scout when he was younger. He loved cooking, playing video games, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He will be dearly missed. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Wednesday evening. Funeral service will be Thursday, 11:00 AM all taking place at Rogers’ Funeral Home in New Lebanon.
