James E. Buerschen, Sr.

BUERSCHEN, James E. Sr. Age 89, of Dayton, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, September 14, 2015. Jim retired from Inland Manufacturing a division of General Motors, a veteran of World War II in the 106th Infantry Division, and a member of the Mason’s. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth. Jim is survived by his three sons and their wives, James E. Jr and Marilyn, Steve M. and Tonya, and Jeffery Buerschen; grandchildren, Janelle (Joe) Golde, Samantha Harshbarger, Christa, James E. III, Erin, Lindsey, Emily, and Natalie Buerschen; numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Elmer (Phyllis) Buerschen. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19 from 12PM to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. The service will begin at 1PM with burial to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
