DURHAM, James E. “Pops”

Age 65, of Brookville, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio. Where he graduated from Trotwood, class of 75.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Larry & Callie (Muncy) Durham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son James K. Durham; Brother, Larry Durham; sister, Connie (Durham) Wells; sister Lora Sandlin

Survived by: his wife Mary (Throm) Durham; daughter Angel (Durham) McPherson of New Lebanon, Ohio. Stepdaughter; Betty & husband Joseph Persky of Anna, OH; stepson Jacob & Wife Jennifer Blevins of Independence KY; grandchildren, Waylon Wright; Timmy McPherson; James D. Durham; Terry Young; Justice Vanatta; Autumn Blevins; and Macie Blevins.

He worked at Green Tokai. On his days off, him & his wife enjoyed going fishing and going out on motorcycle rides. He was a caring, thoughtful, and giving man, who loved his family. His true passion was going out “picking” to auctions, antique shops, and his favorite Goodwill. He enjoyed the thrill of hunting for that next hidden treasure. He had an incredible amount of love & knowledge for music.
