James T. "Jim" Howard

HOWARD, James T. "Jim" Age 77 of Brookville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wed. April 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Howard; and infant son, Daniel Blake. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Beverly; 1 brother, Harold "Nick" (Annette) Howard; 3 children, Richard Howard, Karen (Mike) Jewett, and Beth Ellen (Vince) Minnich; 7 grandchildren, Marshall (Neva) Howard, Derrick Howard, Susan (John) Marschhausen, Sandra (Andrew) Antil, Westley (Calandria Dawson) Jewett, Rebekah (Williem) VanDam, and Anthony (Kelli) Minnich; also, 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Jim proudly served his country in the National Guard and retired from Frito Lay in 1993. He was a faithful member of Providence Lutheran Church in Brookville, a family man, and loved camping, boating, and his Ohio State Buckeyes. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 3-6 PM with funeral service following at 6:00 PM all taking place at Providence Lutheran Church, 11475 Providence Pike, Brookville, OH 45309. Graveside service will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Lutheran Church or Hospice of Dayton.
