James “Jim” Izor, age 95 of West Alexandria, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026. He was born in Lewisburg, Ohio on May 19, 1931, to the late Albert Ray and Mable Izor. He was also preceded in death by his step-son, Samuel Bassett.

A lifelong farmer, Jim owned and operated Rowe’s Farm and Feed for over 40 years. He was a dedicated member of the West Alexandria Lions Club and found great joy in woodworking, antique cars, and sharing stories with his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Sally Izor; his children, Linda (Mike) Besecker, Rick (Connie) Izor, and Debbie (Doug) Dunham, and their mother Onilee Izor; his step-children, Debbie (Ron) Deichler and Sally (Steve) Beaty; as well as 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Monday at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, Sept. 1st also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
