James "Jim" L. Brooks

Brooks, James L. “Jim” Age 67, of Trotwood, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 13, 2020. He was born November 11, 1952 in Dayton to the late Charles L. and Luella D. “Peggy” Brooks. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a daughter, Adrienne Hrenko; and step-daughter, Beth Turpin. His is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Patricia Brooks; daughter, Shannon (Clayton) Smith; step-daughter, Emmy (Bryan) Nemeth; grandchildren, Beau, Beth, Cecily, Davis, and Camden; siblings, Tom (Donna) Brooks and Bonnie (Don) Olney; special nephews, Matt, Clint, and Brooks; and many more family and friends. Jim was a life-long farmer and pipefitter. “May the Great Spirit grant you the strength of eagle’s wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on His Spirit to carry you there.” All my love, Patty The family will receive friends Friday, January 17 from 12-1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Dave Auxier officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, Dayton.
