James "Jim" A. Kidd

KIDD, James A. “Jim” Age 69, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord, Friday March 30, 2018. He was born April 8, 1948 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Edgar Allen and Gloria Mae Kidd. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sara E. Kidd; sons, Jimmy Allen (Jessica) and Jesse John Kidd; grandchildren, Gwen and Carter Kidd; brothers, Jesse Elmon Kidd, Lamar “Skip” Smith, and William “Billy” L. Kidd; sister-in-law, Charlotte Robertson; and many more family and friends. Before retiring, he taught elementary school for many years in the New Lebanon and West Alexandria School Districts. Jim was known for being very humorous, his love of children, kindness, and infectious smile. The family would like to give a special thank you to Preble Home Health Care and Dr. Carol Bland for the exceptional care they gave to Jim. A visitation will be held Wednesday April 4 from 5PM to 8PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon.
