James G. Osborne

Osborne, James G. Age 67, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 5, 2020. He was born October 6, 1952 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late William Osborne and Deloris Abram. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Osborne; brother, Danny Osborne; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Osborne. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rosie; daughter, Gwen (Jessie) Warrix; grandchildren, Jamie (LJ) McCollor, Jessica (Jonathan) Kurtz, and Jessie Warrix, Jr.; great grandchildren, Bryce, Braylan, and Emma; siblings, Bernard Campbell, Alvin Osborne, Charlene (Luke) White, and Dorothy (Don) Frederickson; and many more family and friends. James was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, and enjoyed being outdoors fishing and camping. He also owned and operated “Howards” in Dayton and loved spending time with family. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 9 from 5-7PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 12PM on Friday, January 10 with Rev. Tim Livingston officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, Dayton.
