James F. Rosell

June 24, 1926 — July 14, 2015

ROSELL, James F. Age 89, of New Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 35 years, Sandra; and brother, Richard. Jim is survived by his children, Lynne (Eric) Magel and Scott (Michele) Rosell; grandchildren; Traci Goode, Cassie (Corey) McCarron, and Nick Rosell; great grandchildren, Chloe Goode, Addison Goode, and Keegan McCarron; and many more family and friends. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, who served during World War II from 1944 to 1946 on the USS Idaho, and fought in the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Jim was also a past Commander of the New Lebanon American Legion Post #762. The Visitation will be Saturday, July 18 from 10AM to 11AM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 11AM with Chaplain Kay Fraley officiating. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon. If desired, contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8069 Washington Village Dr, Dayton, 45458.
