VANIMAN, James L. “Jim” age 68, of Montgomery County, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was born April 17, 1950 in Columbus to the late Donald Charles and Dorothy Vaniman. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Pamela; sister, Linda (Ken) Harbaugh; nephews, Brian and David Harbaugh; brother-in-law, Michael Smith; and nephews, Michael Galen and Joseph Paul Smith. He was raised in the Trotwood Church of the Brethren as a child. After graduating from Trotwood, Class of 1968, Jim went on to own the Gulf Station in town, joined Trotwood Rescue, and recently retired from MH Equipment Company. He had a love for cars, tractors, and animals. The family will receive friends Friday, November 23 from 12PM to 2PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. A graveside service will follow immediately at Wares Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg.
