Jane Ellen Smith

SMITH, Jane Ellen Age 90 of Preble County, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was born on July 17, 1923 to her parents, Charles & Carrie (Roof) Storer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Smith; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters. Jane is survived by her son, David Smith of New Lebanon; grandson, Mike (Jennifer) Smith; granddaughter, Kristi Wysong; 2 great-grandsons, Jeff, and Jacob; 2 brothers, Loren, and Paul (Josie) Storer; 1 sister, Lois Baughman; and numerous nieces, and nephews. Jane loved crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 10-11AM with funeral service to follow at 11AM at Rogers' Funeral Home, New Lebanon. Pastor Bobbie Predmore will be officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday at Arlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Jane.
