Janice M. Lantis

LANTIS, Janice M. Age 84 of New Lebanon, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012. Born on April 10, 1928 in Richmond, Indiana to her parents, Orla & Dola Fudge. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Marjorie Burch. Janice is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John G. Lantis; son, Dennis G.(Deborah) Lantis; daughter, Peggy ( Lee Woods) Washington; 4 grandchildren, Todd (Becky), Tammy (Keith), Michelle (Bubba), and Craig (Cheri); 11 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Logan, Clayton, Cole, Olivia, Trey, Lauren, Noah, Caitlyn, and Tyler; niece, Marty (Curt) Smith; nephew, Gary Burch; and many more family members and friends. John will cherish the memories of the adventures that he and Janice shared together and as a family. She was a loving mother & grandmother, and a devoted wife. She will continue to be loved and remembered by all. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon, with Pastor Brian Nunnally officiating. Interment will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 PM.
