J.D. Kurtz

KURTZ, J.D. Age 35 of West Alexandria, formerly of Englewood, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Son, and Brother. J.D. loved hunting, coaching, and was a very devoted Cleveland Browns fan. He is survived by his loving wife, Angie, of 14 years; 1 daughter, Aubree; 2 sons, Ian & Easton; his parents, Larry and Deb Kurtz; 1 sister, Emily (Josh) Bechtel; grandparents, Jim & Marty Smith; 7 very much loved nieces & nephews; best friend, Todd Daniel; and also numerous family members & friends which certainly includes his EMT, WABO, and SAY families. J.D. touched many lives and will be missed by all that knew him. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon, OH 45345. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon on Monday at the funeral home with Pastors Keith Peterson & Justin Wiegand officiating. Interment will follow at Preble Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Memorial Fund set up for J.D.'s Children at any Fifth Third Bank.
