Jean Josephine Hofmann

HOFMANN, Jean Josephine Age 92, passed away March 25, 2014. Born on March 19, 1922 in Clairemorris, County Mayo, Ireland to her parents, Jane Egan & Martin Diviney. Jean immigrated to the U.S.A. in the Fall of 1923. She married Charles Hofmann on Dec. 11, 1945 whom preceded her in death on June 15, 1995. Survived by 2 daughters, Jane (Martin "Bud") Duffy, and Katie Hofmann; 3 sons, Chuck (Cathie), Tom (Theresa), and Steve (Cathy) Hofmann; 14 grandchildren, Shawn Duffy, Megan Monroe, Colleen Klausner, Maureen, Jeff, and Liz Parker, Tom Hofmann Jr., Christine Thill, Marie Jahsman, and Nathan, Sarah, Brian, John, and Danny Hofmann; also 14 great-grandchildren, C.J., Caden, Matty and Kylie Klausner, Molly & Reagan Monroe, David and Eleanna Parker, Alexa Hofmann, Monica, David, James & Stephen Thill, and Morgan Jahsman. Jean was a dedicated Catholic. She volunteered for the Right to Life. She loved her family and loved people. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 5th at 10:30 AM at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 4961 Salem Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45416.
