Jerry Howard Hicks

HICKS, Jerry Howard Age 62 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016. He was born on Oct. 18, 1953 to his parents, James Robert, Sr. & Catherine Ellen (Krull) Hicks who preceded him in death along with his granddaughter, Ophelia Carsner. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carrol Hicks; 8 children, Monte Hicks, James Hicks, Amy Hicks, Julie Hicks, Michelle Hill, Katie Hicks, Jeri Hicks, and Gregory Hicks; also, 11 grandchildren; and 7 siblings, Rosalie “Toots”, Jack, Kathleen, Ted, Tim, Becky, and Terri; and many more family members, and friends. Jerry was employed for 30 years at Synagro. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday and 10-11 AM on Tuesday, April 26 all at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. The Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Tuesday. Pastor Eric Meade will be officiating. Burial will take place at Bear Creek-Hillgrove Cemetery.
