Jerry Lee Poynter

POYNTER, Jerry Lee Age 63 of Brookville, passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2017. Jerry was born in Dayton, Ohio on Dec. 28, 1953 to his parents Lucien & Grace Poynter who precede him in death along with his brother, Leon; and grandchild, Willow. Jerry is survived by his wife of 13 years, Terri Poynter; 3 children, Justin (Mackenzie) Poynter, Matthew Poynter, and Katie Poynter; sister, Wilma Oliver; and other extended family and friends. Jerry enjoyed, fishing, R.C. helicopters and airplanes, and model building. He was a member of the Brethren Church of New Lebanon and the aviation club F.A.S.T. He will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Wed. Dec, 27th at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Thurs. Dec. 28th also at the funeral home. Pastor Kyle Wardlaw officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to F.A.S.T, 1010 Mayfair Rd., Troy, Ohio 45373.
