Joan C. Pease

Pease, Joan C. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Middletown, Ohio. Joan was born on January 19, 1937 to Donald Paul and Doris Mae MtCastle of Lewisburg, Ohio. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Joseph Faulconer. Joan is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don Pease; 2 daughters, Marilyn Faulconer (husband Michael) and Sandra Johnston (husband Wray "Skip"); 3 sons, Ronald Pease (wife Regina), Ricky Pease (wife Suzanne), and Randall Pease (wife Melissa); 2 siblings, Michael MtCastle and Judy Myers; sister-in-law, Alberta Neptune (husband Bill); 1 uncle, James Bunger; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, and many other loving friends and family members. Joan was raised in Preble County and married her high school sweetheart, Don, in 1954. Joan enjoyed and was a very skillful baker, gardener, homemaker, and mother. She spent her days raising her 5 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Joan also took pride in her care of animals; cherished pets that were an important part of the family. Visitation will be held from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral service will commence immediately following the visitation. Interment will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria (New Lexington), Ohio.
