JoAnn Wood

Age 78, of New Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born on May 3, 1946 to her parents, Ralph & Beatrice (Boggs) Albert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Wood; sister and brother-in-law, Louise & Carl Ellis.

JoAnn is survived by her brother, Gary Albert; children, Lisa L Kolb (Steve), Tony L. Watt, and Rebecca A. Louderback (Jerry); grandchildren, Garrett (Laura), Brittany (Andy), Alexandria, Dusty (Susie), and Sierra (Kyle); great-grandchildren, Austin, Raven, Breanna, Bryan, Emery, Nixxon, Silas, and Zayne; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

JoAnn enjoyed gardening, walks, sunsets, nature, and Sedona, AZ and Sequoia National Park. She loved caring for people and always had a smile. She became a Nurse after raising her kids. Working with the elderly gave her so much joy. JoAnn was devoted to her family and would gladly share a glass of wine.

Visitation will be 9:30am-10:30am with Memorial service to begin at 10:30am on Saturday, June 29th at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Procession to Royal Oak Memorial Gardens to follow for the burial of her urn. JoAnn loved lilacs, lavender and carnation flowers. Her favorite colors were purple & lavender. To honor our mother please wear bright cheerful colors if possible.
