John A. Falldorf

FALLDORF, John A. Age 81 of New Lebanon, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017. John was born in West Alexandria, Ohio on January 9, 1936 to his parents, Bernard & Dorothy (Cain) Falldorf who precede him in death along with his sister, Charlotte. John is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara (Krull) Falldorf; 3 children, John E. & Tara Falldorf, Jalynn Gerber, and Joanie & Jim Slohm; grandchildren, Erica & Wes Jackson, Nicole & David Neubauer, Jessica Eldred, Zach & Lily Eldred, and David & Cyndi Slohm; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Alexis, Madison, Kaylee, Kaiden, Reagan, Elias, Elijah, Aiden, and Baby Roma on the way. John is also survived by his siblings, Ben, Bob, & Patricia; sister-in-law, Judi Krull; and brother-in-law, Butch Krull. John retired as a Lieutenant from the Montgomery County Sherriff’s Department after 23 years of service. He was dearly loved and will be missed. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday evening at Rogers Funeral Home, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 12, 2017 also at the funeral home. Pastor Kevin Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of John.
