LOCK, John D.

Age 83 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born in Harrison Twp., Ohio on June 5, 1939 to his parents, Francis Edward & Velma Lucile (Fox) Lock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale, Eddie, and Larry Lock; sister, Violet Fugate; brothers-in-law, Kent Taylor, Paul Lewis, and Austin Fugate.

John is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Lock; daughter, Mindy (Joeseph) Allen, 3 grandchildren, Chelsea Allen, Rebecca (James) Bottoms, and Joeseph D. Allen; siblings, Phyllis Jean Taylor, Doris Lewis, William (Hazel) Lock, Dave (Carol) Lock, and Dennis (Karol) Lock; special little grandpups, Remmy, Blue Belle, and Jake; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Rogers Funeral Home New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
