John M. Tirey

TIREY, John M., Jr. Age 71 of New Lebanon, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 31, 1943 to his parents, John M. Tirey, Sr. & Virginia (Lambert) Tirey. Preceded in death by his parents; and 2 special puppies, Punky & Bubba. John is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Melanie Tirey; 2 daughters, Jessica (Richard) Monte, and Amandda (Steve Austin) Tirey; granddaughter, Abigail Renee Monte; special friend, Joe Demma; and his 2 black lab puppies, Jake & BeBe. John was an exceptional artist. He was an avid reader of WWII history and enjoyed collecting oldies music. He will be missed. Visitation will be held from 5-6 PM with Memorial service to follow at 6:00PM on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 at Rogers' Funeral Home in New Lebanon.
