WEGLEY, Joyce A.

Age 86 of Dayton, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022. She was born in New Lebanon, Ohio on April 22, 1936 to her parents, John & Mabel (Eby) Diehl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother, her special cat Marshmallow, and the joy of her life, son Rick Wegley.

Joyce is survived by her granddaughters, Kristen (Jay) Mahan, and Megan Wegley; great grandchildren Logan & Brooklyn Mahan; numerous nieces and nephews; life-long friends, Marlene Cunningham and family, Tom and Lael Brandt; many church friends especially Pastor Kyle and Holly Wardlaw, many friends and coworkers from the bank, special neighbors, and her pet cat Simon.

Joyce was a good Christian Woman who loved the Lord. She prayed daily for family and friends. She was also a very hard worker and served as the Assistant Vice President of Brookville National Bank for 49 years.

She was Aunt Joyce to the entire Diehl/Rathweg family and loved being invited to many family gatherings. Her sweet smile and spunkiness will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm with funeral service to follow as 12;00pm on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022 at Rogers Funeral Home New Lebanon with Pastor Kyle Wardlaw officiating. Interment will follow at Eversole Cemetery. www.Rogers FuneralHomes.com
