Judith M. "Judy" Maloy

MALOY, Judith M. "Judy" Age 73, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012. She was born on April 22, 1939 in Redbud, Illinois to her parents, James Ivan & Margaret Martha (Harshman) Francis. Many may remember Judy as the first woman tow truck driver for AAA in the Miami Valley area. Some may even remember her as "Granny" the 911 dispatcher for the Huber Heights P.D. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband of 45 years, "Vince" Maloy. Survivors include her 2 sons, Jimmie Lee & Vincent James Maloy; 3 daughters & their husbands, Leah Ann (Curtis) Porter, Vina Jo Maloy (Chuck Wehner); and Margaret R. "Shelli" (Kevin) Landers; 7 grandchildren, Long (Tam), James (Angie), Michelle, Stephen, Ryan (Victoria), Jeremy, & Kaleb; 6 great-grandchildren, Maci, Kaci, Alexis, Lily, Allison, and Ryker; 2 sisters, Nedra Ann Francis, and Connie Marie Kreitzer; brother-in-law, Gary Lee (Dawn) Maloy; and many more friends and family members. A celebration of Judy's life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 11, 2012 at Rogers' Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood, OH with Major Robert Klenk officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Thursday evening. Interment will take place at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Judy.
