Judith Rae Clymer (Kingrey) left this world and went home to the Lord on December 13th, 2025 at the age of 89. Judy was born February 4th, 1936, the only child of Dorothy (Brown) and Raymond Kingrey of New Lebanon, Ohio. She graduated from Dixie High School, class of 1954 and attended Miami Jacobs College. She married her beloved husband, John Clymer Jr., on March 5th, 1955 and remained devoted to him until and even after his passing in 2009. Judy was the loving mother to four sons, and was a homemaker for many years before working for the New Lebanon School district as the High School secretary, and then the Assistant Treasurer for the school board until her retirement.
Judy was dedicated to her family, and is survived by her sons, Michael (Pam), Steven (Angie), Douglas (Cindi), and David. She was the proud grandmother/granny to Sean (Dani), Ashley (Addison) Frei, Jonathon (Heather), Megan (Lance) Turner, Cavan, Jordan, Delaney (Cam) Studer, Joshua, Cole, Jadyn, and six cherished great-grandchildren.
Judy had a true caregiver’s heart. She took care of both of her parents in their later years, two of her sons following motorcycle accidents, her Aunt, Uncle, and husband before their passings. Additionally, she was a volunteer at Hospice of Dayton for 25 years, bringing comfort to all she came in contact with. Judy was a devoted follower of Christ and was an active member of The New Lebanon Brethren Church, serving on the Deacon board, youth group, and was part of many committees over the years. She was a dear friend to so many and will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know her. The family would like to thank the staff at Kauhale of Centerville for the care they gave to Judy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton in her honor.
Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral to begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the New Lebanon Brethren Church, 32 South Church St., New Lebanon, Ohio 45309. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
