Age 67, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on May 28, 2025. She was born in Somerset, KY on August 12, 1957 to her parents Earl & Ruth (Mounce) Whitis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Whitis; and husband, Ray C. Jeffers, Jr.

Judy is survived by her children, Justin (Lea) Jeffers, Jacqueline (Nick) Arvay, Josiah Fugate, Joshua (Amy) Jeffers, Jeremy (Casey) Jeffers, and Janelle (Jeremy) Smith; siblings, Vickie (Carl) Henson, Mary (Dale) Foster, Gene Whitis, and Jenny (Rusty) Sinnamon; grandchildren Jaimie, Joshua, Conner, Emily, Cyleigh, Raelynn, Hayden, Caden, Skyler, Laeton, Jamison, Brantley, Aubrey, Jameson, Nova, and Beau; great grandchildren, Jack, Harper, and Andrew; and numerous other family members and friends.

She loved her soap operas, mowing her grass, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a cafeteria worker at Jefferson Twp. Schools.

Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
