Kathy S. (Kennedy) Cook

COOK, Kathy S. (Kennedy) Age 57, of Clayton, went to be with her son’s in heaven on Saturday, January 16, 2016. She was born August 2, 1958 in Petros, TN to her parents, Kelly and Daphene Kennedy. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Kelly; sons, Christopher, Jerry Jr., and Kevin Cook; brothers; Allen, Martin, and James Kennedy; and father and mother-in-law, Bill and Christine Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jerry Sr.; mother, Daphene; grandchildren, Brittany (Aaron Taylor), Christopher, Dakoda, and Jackson Cook; great-granddaughter, Tegan Taylor; sisters, Kelley Brown, Karrie (Dave) Short, Cassandra (Forrest) Collins, and Linda Kennedy; brothers, John, Tommy, and Mikey Kennedy; and numerous friends and family members. Her kids and grandkids were her “everything,” but she also enjoyed Bacardi and Pepsi, and Jell-O shots. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Celebrant Don Payne officiating.
