Keith E. Smith

Age 66, of Clayton, passed away on Tuesday November 11, 2025 in his home with his wife and beloved dog, Stella, at his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Smith (Brightbill) and infant niece Ruthie Christine Heintz. Survived by his wife, Anna Smith, father, Dr. Robert Smith, mother-in-law Elizabeth Smith, sisters, Pam Heintz (Joe) and Annette Sommer (Richard), sister-in-laws, Cheryl Eck (Jerry) and Kim Combs, brother-in-law, Earl Smith (Angee), step-son Bradley Alcorn (Jeanna), grandchildren, Makayla Greenway, Zachary Greenway, Colten Alcorn and Rylee Alcorn and multiple nieces and nephews.

Over the years, Keith worked in Auto Collision Repair, as a level 3 Montgomery County Waste Water Treatment Operator, Co-Pastor at Brookville Church of the Nazarene and volunteer ministry at Brookhaven Retirement Community. He enjoyed making pizza, playing piano and singing, building and flying remote control aircrafts with The Flying Aero Sport Team (FAST), woodworking, carpentry and welding, felling trees, and being outdoors. He was always working on one of his many projects involving his rocket stoves, alternative fuel sources and hydropower. He was a good and helpful neighbor to all and enjoyed sharing his wealth of knowledge and his faith with everyone. He always listened to the Cincinnati Reds games on the radio and he NEVER knew a stranger.


Visitation will be held from 2-4pm with funeral service to begin at 4:00pm on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at the Brookville Church of the Nazarene, 11511 Upper Lewisburg Salem Rd, Brookville, Ohio 45309.  Pastor Tim Martin officiating. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
