Kelso "Kelly" B. Jones

JONES, Kelso “Kelly” B. Age 74, of Hillsboro, formerly Union, went to join our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Randolph Jones; mother and step-father, Ruth and Kenneth Shoemaker; late wife, Fern Jones; and brother, Edward Jones. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Jones; sisters, Ann (Jones) Jarvis, and Donna (Jones) Barker; brother, Troy Jones; son, Ronnie Jones; step-son, James Rutherford; step-daughters, Danyella Hall and Valerie Schuyler; grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Joe, Lindsey, Christopher, Jake, Kyriea, Anna, Nevada, Isaiah, Lizzie, William, Kirsten, Carson, Zane, and Emily; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins, both here in Ohio and his birth state of Tennessee. “Kelly” worked as a backhoe operator for 53 years; only recently retiring due to his health. He was known for his precision work and strong work ethic. He will be sorely missed and remembered fondly by many. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24 from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood with the funeral service beginning at 12:30PM. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kelly’s memory may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, OH 45121.
