Kenneth Franklin

FRANKLIN, Kenneth Age 87 of New Lebanon passed away Wed. March 21, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Jamestown, TN on May 8, 1924 to his parents William & Betsy (Baldwin) Franklin who have since preceded him in death. Kenneth is survived by 2 daughters, Donna (Carl) Steele, and Patti (Roland) Cox; and 1 son, Kenneth Jr. (Young Suk); grandchildren, LaDonna Steele, Jenifer & Victoria Franklin, Misha & Levi Tepton, and Denny & Dana Cox; special great-granddaughter, Brianna Schuler; 1 brother, O.W. (Barbara) Franklin; 2 sisters, Ruth Roysden and Helen Choate; special family friend, Kim Rickett; and many more family members and friends. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from Delco Products after 30 years of service and had been a longtime member of the St. Johns Masonic Lodge #13. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held from 2-3 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 with Masonic services to follow at 3:00PM at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon 45345. A Private graveside service will be held Monday, March 26, 2012 at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.
