GARBER, Kenneth J. Of New Lebanon, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was born July 9, 1923 to Virgil and Clara (Arnett) Garber of West Manchester. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, an infant brother, and 2 older brothers, Dwight and Karl; and sister, Virginia Radabaugh. He graduated from Lewisburg High School, and the University of Cincinnati, and then served in World War II in the U.S. Army. Kenneth is survived by nieces and nephews, Rex Garber, Barbara Shyrigh, James Radabaugh, David Radabaugh, John Radabaugh, Sarah Olwin, and Carolyn Radabaugh; a cousin, Brenda Meez; and several great and great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. He retired from Wright-Bernet Company in Hamilton. Kenneth donated his farm to the Preble County Historical Society, and it is now the Allen and Adeline Garber Nature Center, in honor of his grandparents. He loved music and played the organ for over 50 years in the First Lutheran Church in Cincinnati. A visitation will be held Monday, July 11 from 12PM to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Bobbie Predmore officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg.
