Kenneth R. “Kenny” Harlow

Age 75 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025. He was born in Dayton on August 6, 1949 to his parents, John & Rhea (Somerset) Harlow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Shannon Smith, and Shawna Hager; son, Billy Jo Thomas; siblings, Lloyd Clark, Juanita Hartmier, John Harlow, Don Harlow, Jack Harlow, Cathy Gilbert, and Bobby Harlow.

Kenny is survived by his wife Joy, of 38 years; children, Melissa (Tara) Harlow, Jason Thomas, Tori Thomas, and Kenneth Harlow, II; his beloved dog, Bailey Rae; 2 brothers, Gary (Phyllis) Harlow, and Larry (Kathy Toops) Harlow; best friends, Terry & Carol Hammond, and Walter Campbell, II; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Kenny loved fishing, hunting, cooking, and grilling out. He worked as a butcher and chef throughout his life at Miami Valley Golf Club, Geneva’s, Estridge’s, and American Aggregate. Kenny was a proud member of the F-Troop. He has pulled his “Final Tradition.”

Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Monday, April 21st, 2025. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
