Kenneth Morgan

August 29, 1935 — July 9, 2024

Kenneth Allen Morgan of New Lebanon, Ohio, passed away July 9, 2024, and is now with his Heavenly Father and his beloved wife of nearly 63 years.

Kenneth was born August 29, 1935 in Wendover, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Ann (Hall); his son, Bobby C. Morgan; parents, Cecil C. and Verna (Shell) Morgan; brothers, Hobart and James Coy Morgan; and sister, Lois Morgan.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Susan K. (Charles) Halsey; daughter-in-law, Donna (Harrison) Morgan; two grandchildren, Rebekah (Benjamin) Blair and Andrew Morgan; 4 beautiful and talented great grandchildren; and brother, J. G. Morgan.

Kenneth was an ordained deacon of the First Baptist Church of New Lebanon and was instrumental in starting the bus ministry. He was a humble man and served God faithfully throughout his life. He worked as a truck driver and in construction before retiring as a machinist from Chrysler Corporation. Kenneth loved automobiles—driving, repairing and customizing them. He was a gifted musician, playing guitar, banjo, mandolin and organ, never having a music lesson.

On behalf of Kenneth, the family extends its thankfulness and appreciation to Jo Ellen Sprengel and Linda Blair for their love and support throughout recent weeks.
