Kenneth R. Hoke

HOKE, Kenneth R. Age 68, of Trotwood, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. He was born July 9, 1946 in Dayton to his parents, Ray and Mildred Hoke. Ken was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Susie; mother, Mildred; step-son, Terry Mantle; granddaughter, Eleora; sister, Linda (Claude) Grissom; brother, Paul Hoke; nephew, David; and many more family and friends. Ken was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam, a Ham Radio Operator using the call sign N8EZM, volunteer for Trotwood Fire and Rescue during the 1970's, and retired from Verizon after 40 years of service. Committal Service will take place at Dayton National Cemetery on Monday, October 20, 2014. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ken's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
