Kevin E. Murray, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 91.

Born on August 26, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio, Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Carolyn (Daughters) Murray, and his son, John Murray.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Patricia (Dafler) Murray; his son David and wife Loreen, and their children, Lorin Hilo (husband Daniel) and Michael (fiancée Jen); his daughter Joanna Perretta and husband Philip, and their children, Rachel, PJ, and Teresa (husband Parish); and his son Paul and his children, Christina, Daniel (fiancée Katy), and Sherry; Raymond, and his daughter, Emma; and his six great-grandchildren.

Kevin graduated from Dixie High School in New Lebanon, Ohio, class of 1953. He proudly served in the Naval Reserve from 1952 to 1954. He was the retired owner of Buckeye Lite & Barricade, where he built a respected career through hard work and service.

He enjoyed a full and active life. He loved boating, fishing, flying, and traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Florida. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family. He was known for his quick wit, classic one-liners, his inventions, and for providing an amazing life for his family. His love, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and take comfort in the legacy of love and devotion he leaves behind.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers Funeral Home, 324 W. Main Street, New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice in his memory and may be mailed to 7575 Paragon Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459.
