Larry Lucius Coursey

COURSEY, Larry Lucius Age 74 of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at the V.A. Medical Center. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to his parents Joseph Calvin & Anna Virginia (McDonald) Coursey who precede him in death. Larry is survived by his wife; brother, Ron Coursey; sister, Linda Ferreira; and nieces and nephews, Brian Coursey, Sean Coursey, Lisa Coursey-Szwec, Rhonda Ruetschle-Speaker, and Randy Ruetschle. Larry proudly served in the U.S Navy on the U.S.S. Patapsco. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served internationally from 1966-1969. Larry earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Wright State University. He retired from TruTec Industries after many years as an accountant. Larry also enjoyed being a member of the Rainbow Investment Club. A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third St., Dayton Ohio 45428.
