Larry Earl Ruxer, Sr.

Ruxer, Larry Earl, Sr. 77, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at his home. He was born August 24, 1943 in Dayton to Sylvester and Landona (Smith) Ruxer. Larry was a proud veteran from the United States Navy, and had continued his service as a part of the Naval Reserves. He was a member of the United Freemasons. Larry also enjoyed woodworking. Many members of the community will fondly remember Larry as the owner of L&L Bait Shop for 43 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his soulmate for 63 years, Linda; children, Larry E. (Lori) Ruxer, Jr., Theresa (Robert) Gue; Tonya (Mark) Lankheit; 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Ashley; brothers, Robert and Joseph; sisters, Nancy, Erlene, and Donna. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 12 p.m. Interment to follow after at Royal Oaks Memorial Gardens.
