SHOCK, Larry Age 58 of New Lebanon, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 after battling cancer for 6 months. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 8, 1957 to his parents Paul & Dorothy (Stoner) Shock. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, June 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Gay Shock; His father Paul of Brookville, son, Zachary Shock of North Carolina; step-son, Chris (Megan) Landis of New Lebanon; 3 grandsons, Noah & Ethan Landis, and Ezekiel Shock; brother, Jerry (Kim) Shock & their children and numerous loyal friends. Larry was a 1975 graduate of Dixie High School. He lived his whole life in New Lebanon and was the 4th generation to live on the Shock family farm. Larry also served as Mayor of New Lebanon from 2004-2008. He worked most of his life in the paper printing business, first with Cordage Papers then as a Sales Rep. with Central Printing. In 2001, he along with his wife Gay, decided to focus all of their time together on their rentals. Larry enjoyed life! Meeting new people, playing golf with the guys, riding his Harley, deer hunting and being with friends. He will be greatly missed Memorial service will be held Saturday April 23rd at 12:00 at Bear Creek Church of the Brethren. 7500 W. Third St. Dayton.
