Larry Martin Swank

SWANK, Larry Martin Age 78 of New Lebanon went home on Sunday, November, 21, 2021. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 1, 1943 to his parents, Ora Hiram & Lori (Kelly) Swank. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Heckman; and uncle, Jack Martin. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Cora Alice Swank; 3 children, Kelly Vechil Swank of Alexandria, VA, Kristopher Martin Swank of Springfield, Ohio, and Kimberly Sue Swank of New Lebanon, Ohio. Also 3 grandchildren Kaleb & Kamron Rutledge, and Gavin Montgomery; brother, Jerry Swank; sister-in-law, Sue Johnson and family; and lifetime friends, Ruth & David Peffly and family. Larry was a longtime member of the Dixie School Board and was very active in Dixie High School athletics. He also gave 30 years of service to NLYA. Larry enjoyed motorcycles, cars, and sports, especially football. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon.
