THOMPSON, Lauren Marie (Kostora)

Age 36, of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Lauren was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.

Lauren was born on Saturday, August 2, 1986 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Hillard Darby High School, Class of 2005. During her last two years of high school she attended Tolles Technical Center studying Arts and Communication. Following high school, Lauren interned at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

At the time of her passing, Lauren was employed as a customer Service Representative at McDonald’s in New Lebanon, Ohio. Her children meant the world to her. She was passionate about animals, nature, reading, and taking photographs of her children. Her artwork is amazing.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Nedra Boggs. Lauren is survived by her mother, Judy Boggs; brother, Ryan Kostora; children, Sophia Thompson, Vincent Thompson, and Ava Sword; boyfriend, James Sword; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
