Lawrence E. Mccarty

McCarty, Lawrence E. Age 91 of West Alexandria, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. He was born in Enterprise, Ohio on July 23, 1930 to his parents, Burley & Mattie (Crouch) McCarty. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary E. McCarty (Mayton); 4 children Wilma Knox (John), Larry McCarty (Sue), Patricia Singleton (Charlie), and Reva Wilson (Charley); also 9 grandchildren, Mike Knox (Amy), Robert Wilson, Nathan McCarty (Stacie), Ben McCarty (Jennie), Troy Singleton (Cassandra), Tabitha Rigsby (Jeremy), Jenny Wilson, Terry Knox, and Christina Cunningham (Darren); and 14 great grandchildren. Lawrence was employed at GM for 30 plus years. He was a member and Deacon at Grace Baptist Church in Drexel, Ohio since 1963. He was loved and will be missed. Visitation will be held from 10-11am with funeral service to follow at 11:00am on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Pastor Donnie Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville.
