HALL, LD Age 86 of Centerville, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. He was born in Olive Hill, KY on November 24, 1931 to his parents Leroy & Idella (Jarvis) Hall who have preceded him in death along with his first wife, Brenda Elizabeth Hall, sisters, Dixie Gulley, and Wanda Williams; and sister-in-law, Luella Hall. LD is survived by his wife, Susan Hall; daughter Deirdre (Hall) Minney; son, Stephen Murray Hall; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Audrey Hause, Stephen Scott Hall, Elizabeth Marie Hobbs, and Michael Anthony Hall; also, 6 great-grandchildren, Nadia, Marcus, Grace, Jade, Tyler, and Izac; brother, Louis David Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. LD proudly served as a Sargent in the U.S. Air Force. During his time serving in Europe he met his wife Brenda. After marriage they moved to Portsmouth, Ohio to start their family. They moved to Dayton in the early 60’s and LD began work at Apex Machine & Tool Co. where he retired from after 25 years. He was a member of the Bolivar Masonic Lodge in Eaton where he had served as Past Master. LD was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed. Visitation will be held from 10am-11am with service to follow at 11:00 am on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon.
