Lela C. Piercey

PIERCEY, Lela C. Age 92, of New Lebanon, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012. She was born on April 4, 1919 in Indiana. Lela was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Leonard E. Piercey, and nephew, Professor Charles D. Turpin. She was survived by niece, Sandra (Tom) Winter-Denning; nephews, Jim (April Farah) Turpin, Jack (Linda) Turpin, Art Turpin; special friends, Debbie and Ken Stevens and Linda T. Turpin; and several more nieces and nephews. Lela received the most enjoyment in life by spending time with her family and friends, and will be missed by all. Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2012 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 324 W. Main St., New Lebanon with the funeral service beginning at 1PM. Deacon Stan Arnold will be officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Hospice of Dayton in memory of Lela.
