Leo "Lippy" Browning

BROWNING, Leo “Lippy” Age 66, of Drexel, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015. He was born August 5, 1948 in Paintsville, KY to his parents, Thomas Sr. and Elsie Stewart Lippy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Browning; and brother, Donis Ward. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karen; sons, Rodney L. (Debbie Ann) Browning and BJ; grandchildren, Hailie Seiber, Mark Browning, Jr., Rodney Browning, Jr., Nichelle Browning, Brandon Staley, Ashley Browning, and Aaron Davis; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Stewart, Jr,; sister, Wanda Thompson; special mother-in-law, Goldie “Granny Bear” Leonard; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, George Wilson; and many friends. He loved his awesome family! Lippy was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam, retired from the Dayton Daily News, was a past President of Vietnam Veterans Chapter 97, and an awesome DJ. A Celebration of Life will take place Wednesday, August 5 at Browning Auto, 5427 W. Third St. from 5PM to ? All are welcome to attend.
