Levi Ananias Jordan, Jr.

Age 86 of Brookville passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. He was born in Preble County, Ohio on December 14, 1939 to his parents Levi A. Jordan, Sr. and Rachel (Etzler) Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, James, Leroy, Carl, and Raymond; sisters-in-law, Mildred and Wanda Jordan; niece, Judy Mallow; and nephews, Kenneth & Donald Jordan.

Levi is survived by his sister-in-law, Lois Jordan; nieces, Polly Hamilton, Karen Allen, Janet Hook, and Sheryl Goodman; nephews, Doug and Phil Jordan; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Levi was a kind, gentle and giving man. He enjoyed going to church as a child and an adult. His favorite book in the Bible was James and he also loved the Psalms. Levi was known by his family as “Bud.” He grew up working on the family farm with his father until adulthood.

Levi was a true animal lover and adored his pet beagle named Tiny. A favorite past time on the farm was riding a motorized scooter down the lane to get the mail every day. He learned to drive an old Ford pickup in the fields, and would go on to own several different cars.

Levi worked as a custodian for Montgomery County Services for 20 years until his retirement. He loved watching sports on tv, especially Bengals football and Cincinnati Reds baseball. His favorite player of all time was Pete Rose.

Visitation will be held from 10:30-11am with funeral service to begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery.
