Linda D. (Halsey) Green

GREEN, Linda D. (Halsey) Age 66, of New Lebanon, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. She was born July 17, 1952 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late Earl and Mae (Cunningham) Halsey. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Green; and brothers, Ronald Halsey and Kenneth “Skeet” Halsey. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Don) Powell; son, Kevin (Dawn) Green; grandchildren, Linzy (Justin Hale) Shepherd, Tyler Shepherd, Katrina Shepherd, Kyle Green, and Brigitte Green; step grandchildren, Jordan Welcome and Cody Welcome; great granddaughter, Haylee Maye Cokeley; step great granddaughter, Hayden Hartmier; brothers, Bobby (Nancy) Halsey, Donnie (Barb) Halsey, Johnnie (Helen) Halsey, and David “Linnie” Halsey; and many more family and friends. Linda enjoyed singing gospel music and taking care of her brother Linnie. Her life centered around her kids and grandkids. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon. If desired, contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, 45420.
