Linda J. Honious

Honious, Linda J, Age 74 of New Lebanon passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 16, 2020. Born in Dayton, Ohio on July 29, 1946 to her parents Clarence and Bertha (Hayes) Lockhart who have preceded her in death, along with her husband of 53 years, Harold E. Honious Sr.; siblings Carl Hayes, Keith Lockhart, Helen Hayes, Bill Hayes, Betty Mroz, Patsy Fetters, Chuck Lockhart, Donna Jean Phillips and Barbara Reed. Linda is survived by her three children Harold Honious Jr., Robyn (Mark) Hara, and Darrin (Andrea) Honious; brother James (Joyce) Lockhart and sister-in-laws Phyllis (Honious) Slyder and Janet “Sue” Honious; Grandchildren: Samantha (Matt) Buchanan, Andrew Honious, Lauren Hara, Blake Hara, Breana Honious, and Carlee Honious; Great Grandchild Waylon Buchanan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda was a determined breast cancer survivor of 13 years. She was a loving babysitter to many children throughout her life. She loved to be with her family and travel, especially the annual family vacation to Myrtle Beach. She lived life to the fullest and would always be humming her favorite gospel songs. An outdoor gathering will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 visitors are welcome 11am-1pm at New Lebanon Brethren Church, 32 S. Church Street, New Lebanon, Ohio 45345. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Lebanon Brethren Church.
