Lois Imogene Wright

WRIGHT, Lois Imogene (Smith) Age 91 of New Lebanon passed peacefully with her daughters at her bedside on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Legacy-Cypress Pointe, Englewood, Ohio. Lois is survived by her two daughters, Sharon McCollum and husband, Dan of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Connie Trimble and husband, Ray of Brookville, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Jill Wright of Wilmington, Ohio; grandchildren, David McCollum and wife Debbie of Hillsboro, Ohio, Rebecca Farley and husband Douglas of Nashville, TN, Mark McCollum and wife Britney of Hillsboro, Ohio, Rodney Wright and wife Rhonda of Brookville, Ohio, Robert Wright and wife Jeannie of Miamisburg, Ohio, Sean Wright and wife Tracy of Springfield, Ohio, and Jason Trimble and wife Denise of Arcanum, Ohio. Lois is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Claude “Tom” Wright of 50 years; son, Stephen Wright; granddaughter, Kristina Wright; parents, David Harrison & Rachel Cordella (Adams) Smith; brother, Calvert Smith; sisters, Velma Winningham, Vella Owens, and Goldie Leonard; 7 half-brothers, Stanley, Clovis, and Sheryl Cooper; Clyde, Marvin, Clay and Herman Smith; and half-sister, Elva Howard. Lois’ great gift was the love she shared with her family and neighbors. Lois was a member of Trotwood Church of the Nazarene. She loved God and taught children most of her adult life. Lois also loved gardening, crafting, and quilting. We are honoring suggested Corona Virus group gatherings of no more than 10 people.
